Operation: Silent Spring

Section 7 forces liberated the island of Malden Sunday night from Russian VMF forces. S7 prevented Russian forces from taking the Airport, preventing them from using it to launch fighters. Section 7 forces also prevented Russian Marines from deploying large-scale anti-ship missiles. In addition to preventing forces, S7 also destroyed two radar sites and a Russian Forward Operating Base containing a datalink. This was crucial in the success of the mission. Aside from the Surface to Air Missiles on the Southeastern island, the Russian Marines were completely eliminated from the island.
