Militias in Lythium (11/26/2023)

Section 7 finally makes a long-awaited return to Lythium! The company is tasked with performing a series of raids on several key enemy positions as part of an overall counterinsurgency effort. Section 7's main objective is simple: insert into each objective and destroy all OPFOR elements within them.

On the opposing side, there is a battalion-strength unit of heavily armed but poorly organized militiamen, supported by an allied militiary contingency of mortars, rocket artillery, and SPAA at the northwest airbase. Civilians are thrown into the mix, just to make things more complicated!

Between the two ground platoons, Spartan 1 and Spartan 2 made a record number of 8 separate troop movements by helicopter, and conducted 6 different air assaults into the numerous objectives.
